Grow North Implementation Project
The concept for this project is an integrated ethanol plant, meat processing plant (for hogs and cattle), feedlot, and bio-gas plant with digesters. The initiative has now taken the form of a company called “Grow North” and is made up of 184 individuals and producers who each purchased $100 memberships.
Key activities in this phase of the project will include: setting the final share structure and selling shares, site identification and selection, cellulosic review, selection of an engineering firm and initial engineering, selection of technology partners, investigating new generation co-ops with producers, investment attraction and securing project funding, and recruitment of senior staff.
